Join Scouting Night

Looking for fun, adventure, and leadership beyond traditional sports and other organizations? Join an organization with over 100 years experience getting kids outdoors! New scouts can join today for the 2023-2024 school year.  

We look forward to your family joining us this fall for many great adventures:

• Camping (with S’mores of course!) - September is our first camp out for the year

• More camping a weekend of October 

• Community Service events in November, as part of a big food drive 

• Hiking the Billy Goat Trail 

• Woodworking (and lots of fun) as Scouts build pinewood derby cars for the big race in January

• Leadership building opportunities

• Learning about and experiencing citizenship

• Archery, crafts, rock climbing, kayaking 

• And much more!

For boys and girls:

Our boy Dens are primarily composed of Scouts from Taylor Elementary and ASFS.  And after girls were invited to join Cub Scouts four years ago, our girl Dens have grown to include Taylor, ASFS, Innovation, Glebe, and St. Agnes.

Please join us on September 12 to learn more about Pack 149 at our Join Scouting Night informational meeting.  This is our big welcome meeting for prospective and new Scouts and their parents.   We will have a brief presentation followed by break-out sessions so that parents can meet with the Den Leaders for their Scout's grade levels.
